Tessa turned four on June 27th. Her birthday fell on a Monday so we decided to celebrate as a family over the weekend. She had a fun birthday weekend filled with a trip to dixie cream donuts, swimming, sunday school, splash park fun, and of course lots of cards and gifts from family. She got her new favorite toy, Princess Celestia from Mimi and PaPa as well as some new princess barbies, mermaids, dress up clothes, and zooble toys. She had her birthday party at Tulsa World of Gymnastics. We had never been there, but had heard it was a fun location for a party. Tessa had fun except for a couple of outbursts from little injuries and her candle getting blown out by a friend:) Typical Tessa....gotta love her! On a side note....sometimes I get so stressed out with how emotional my child is, but I've just decided that I need to accept her for who she is and work with her on it as best as I can. ...it's not easy, but we're getting there:) All in all the party was fun and Tessa had lots of sweet friends come....Reagan, Olivia, Emma, Jackson, Hadley, Christian, Hannah, Braden, Kaeden, Addison, Brynlee, Lyla, and Parker were able to come. She got lots of neat new gifts ...lots of barbie stuff, princess toys, lipsticks, a purse, a tinkerbell toy, a new cash register, a stamp set, a game, a zhu zhu pet, and some squinkies... Tessa has been playing so much with all of her new things.... I love it!
Happy Birthday, to my sweet Tessa Claire! You have blessed my life for the past 4 years and I don't know what I would ever do without you. You are sweet, quirky, totally random at times, full of energy, fun loving, and such a huge blessing to your mommy and daddy. You love to swim, play games, watch my little pony, play princess, sing songs, dress up, cook, go to the splash park, play hide and seek, chase, be tickled, play kissee kissee, do art, watch leap, talk super loud so you're sure that we hear you, do gymnastics, and eat "banilla" ice cream. Your favorite foods are peanut butter sandwiches, butella (nutella) sandwiches, tomatoes, carrots, apples, strawberries, any kind of candy, and ice cream. You learned how to write all of your letters last year in pre-school and are starting to recognize and sound out some words...you even counted with mommy to 100 the other day (with a tiny bit of help:) Mommy and Daddy couldn't be more proud of the little girl that you are and can't wait to see what God has in store for your life:) We love you!
